Consider this the grown-up, upgraded version of the original Scholar bag, made from hand-stained veg-tan leather in two different weights.  A simple but classic and dependable bag with a single patch pocket on the front exterior, and two leather partitions on the interior.  Stitched together with bonded nylon and reinforced with nickel rivets, so you can count on longevity.  The adjustable strap comes with a shoulder pad for comfort and is removable if you prefer to carry the bag by hand.  The long process of hand-staining leather is the only way to achieve such a dimensional look to a monochromatic color scheme.  Edges are beveled and finished off with a thorough burnishing process.  This is that classic bag that everyone will comment on.
